FLOODING CONCERNS
Posted on May 25th, 2018
Residents are expressing concern regarding possible flooding with the upcoming rain forecast. Although we cant control Mother nature the association has been following the instruction and will continue to take direction from Lake Worth Drainage District/South Florida Water Management. We do have a LWDD inspector assigned to our property who routinely inspects and monitors our lake levels.

We will continue to monitor the drainage control structure and work together with the district throughout the weekend.  However flooding may still occur in your yards and driveways and on our roads. The district and the association are aware of this and controlling the situation accordingly. As always please exercise caution when outside during such events.

Enjoy the Memorial Weekend and stay safe :)

Lakes at Boca Residents
I received alot of communication today from concerned residents. I want to inform you of the process. When flooding occurs or lake levels are high Lake Worth Drainage District stays in constant contact with us. They advise us as to when we can open our control structures to lower lake levels. We are governed by them and must follow their authority. As of early this afternoon we were able to open the structure for several hours. Over the next 24 hours we should hope to see a decrease in lake levels and street flooding should be reduced. That is if it doesn't rain again! I wanted to assure you that we are on top of this issue and will be all through rainy season. This is a common occurrence during our rainy season. Rest assured Lake worth Drainage is actively managing our drainage system.
Thank you
Dawn Acovino, Property Manager
